How many gained weight over the holidays? I know i have! Here are some tips on how to get back into the groove of things.
1. eat more fruits and veggies
2. cut back on the carbs
3. more protein
4. snack on almonds
5. get in at least a 30 min workout each day
6. get rid of all junk and sweets
7. get family involved also
8. write down your goals in a journal
9. only weight yourself once a week
10. don't bet yourself up if you mess up

Farmers Markets
Do you like shopping at the farmers markets or do you just buy your stuff at regular grocery stores? Well, today i went to the farmers market and found some really good stuff! I can't wait to eat all these goodies!!!

Setting my goals today!
These are the things i need to work on this year. They may seem easy but sometime's you forget or say tomorrow i will do it. What you have to do is get a small notebook or journal to write all your goals in and if you meet one check it off. I wish you all luck on your goals this year!

Keep your own energy humming along with these strategies for a satisfying midday meal.
- Don't skip lunch. That way, you won't overeat later.
- Do eat a complete meal rich in protein. This can help optimize mood and alertness. Try fish with steamed veggies, or turkey and spinach on a whole-wheat wrap.
- Do dine with others. Research says socializing while eating lifts your mood.
- Don't give in to the after-lunch slump. Go for a brief stroll and feel more energized the rest of the day.
